Animal Jam Arctic Wolves

This amazing artwork was made by AJCamreaBunny on YouTube for her Animal Jam-Stay With Me AJMV. You can find the speedpaint here and her channel here.

Now onto the part we all know and love: constructive criticism.

First off, I'll explain what I like about this. I like how you did the mane. It looks really nice, and the scruff of fur also looks pretty. The anatomy looks realistic! My anatomy needs practice XD

I like what you did with the arctic wolves. I like how one's blue, one's pink, and one's purple. The lines look really smooth and the glove looks realistic.

Now, for what I think you can improve on. The white part of the arctic wolfs' face needs to be spread out more. I'll show you:

Okay my editing made it look ugly but I think you get the idea.

The white part of the ear and the white part of the face should be separated more.
Try adding some fur around the face, like this:

That will add some realism!

You should add some lightning for more realism!

Otherwise, you've done an amazing job! Can't wait to see you improve!

Everyone in the World OC MEP

This awesome artwork was made by my friend LemTheCat on DeviantArt. Click here to look at the original.

Let me start this post by saying:

OMG BRUH THIS IS AMAZING OMG I WISH I COULD DRAW LIKE YOU OMG MAKE A FIREALPACA TUTORIAL NOW YOU'RE TOO GOOD!!!!!

*takes deep breath*

Okay, sorry for my fangirling. But seriously, this is extremely good!

First, let's start off with what I like. First off, I love the blood. The blood is incredible. I mean, someone can already tell that it's drawn, but still really cool! The expression on the cat's face makes him look like a bloodthirsty monster, and that's really important when drawing. The anatomy is really good too! The eyes look amazing! I love the glow and the beams coming from the eyes. The one squinting eye and the one wide eye makes him look insane, which I love.

While this drawing is stunning and amazing, there are, of course, flaws. I see that little...um...bump underneath the eye. Is it suppose to represent an eye tic, one people do when they're insane? If so, I think you should do something like this:

http://sta.sh/0e7zfqpc0z5?recent_preview=1

You can also make the other eye wider.

Also, for the nose, you can add 2 little holes there, like a real cat's nose.

The shading and lightning looks like you just...scribbled for it. Try making it look a bit like this:

http://sta.sh/0ntd2igvd93?recent_preview=1

This might help you out a bit. Also, you might want to use the gaussian blur tool to make it look more realistic.

Quick Tips for the Future:

  • Make the shadows darker depending on the area.
  • Make the shade colors depending on the area.
  • Make darker shadows to add realism
  • Add whiskers to the muzzle and above the eyes, like a real cat's.
Otherwise, this artwork is amazing and I'm excited to see you improve!

ssssss

This cute artwork was drawn by Laurenio on DeviantArt. Here is the link: http://laurenio.deviantart.com/art/ssssss-527262929?q=sort%3Atime%20gallery%3ALaurenio&qo=0

This artwork is very cute and seems majestic! I love the eye beams and the eyes. The sparkles are pretty. I love the scarf and the bow. I like how you made the other ear visible, but it looks a bit like a deer ear. Try making it look slightly similar to the other ear. The snout looks too curved. You see, a wolfs' snout isn't really curved, it's straight. The back leg looks a bit odd. Try looking at a picture of a wolf lying down. The pads are too big, try making them smaller.

Otherwise, your style is so cute! I cannot wait to see improvement! <3

BubblyProduction's Artwork

Note: It doesn't have a name, so I don't know what to call it

My friend showed this to me on Google+. I think she shared this privately, but I'll give you the link: https://plus.google.com/u/1/b/111230042847648676436/photos/106020548056451349610/albums/6136902827846336401/6136902830605730978?pid=6136902830605730978&oid=106020548056451349610&authkey=CP7M8vnjwKGUrQE

Onto my favorite part of the post: CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM!!! :D

I love the fuzzy wolves or cats or whatever these animals are. I love how fuzzy the animals are. I love that little eager wolf/cat on top of that one animal with the fox hat. This is super cute!

Of course, there are flaws. No art can ever be completely perfect. The legs look kinda odd. What I would do is I would look at a picture of a cat or a wolf sitting down and looking at the "camera" and see how their legs are positioned. Also, the legs are pretty skinny. Try...fattening them out? Sorry, there was really no nice way to put it. The cheek of the wolf/cat on top of the other animal looks slightly off, or maybe it's just me.

Otherwise, this artwork is SO. DARN. CUTE!!!!! I cannot wait to see you improve <3

Our Love Never Existed...

This artwork was made by my friend BananaRamaDraws on DeviantArt. The link is here: http://bananaramadraws.deviantart.com/art/Our-Love-Never-Existed-526191992

I like this! I love the design of Cragfoot (I think that's the striped cat's name). I also like the story behind this. It gave me the feels in the description:

Stop crying Blotchedheart, we never showed any love to each other we would never fall in love... but why am I sad? I can't stop thinking of them... they will be mates. I'll always be a friend, nothing more... nothing..

AHHH THE FEELS!!!!

Now, the tears are fine, but keep in mind that tears aren't actually blue. They are transparent, and you used DA Muro to make this. The closest thing to transparent is silver, so try using silver next time.

Also, Blotchedheart's head looks a bit like an oval. Try making it rounder and add some fur around the head, like in my art. The cats in the memory are fine, but add some fur around the head. Also, maybe you should try adding a snout. The ears should be a bit rounder, but not too round.

Otherwise, you're getting better and I can't wait to see improvement!

My IRL cat Ginger

Made by Rainbow-Kitten-Candy on DeviantArt. http://rainbow-kitten-candy.deviantart.com/art/My-IRL-cat-Ginger-526173897

I love the cute little smile she has. The eyes are also very cute. They look so kawaii! The hair shine is pretty. The head is a good size. However, while this picture is very cute, it has a few flaws. The hair looks a bit wiggly, try making the fur of the hair sticking out a bit pointy, but not too pointy. I can't explain it. Try trying out https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_aVh9hAUiM06pJwH_a_kog 's hair style. I also think that the shine of the eye is a bit off. Try making them inside the pupil. Also, try putting some fur around the head, otherwise it'll look a bit unrealistic. The ears are too pointy. You see, cat ears should be a bit roundish. Also, maybe add a little cute nose there. Also, I see that one of the eyelashes seem to be in the eye. Try fixing that next time, bruh ;)

Otherwise, this artwork was very cute! I cannot wait to see improvement!

Welcome to this blog!

I've made this blog for a reason

For art to be shown to the world

For art to be appreciated

Not for art to be made fun of or called "bad"

Not for people to bring someone down by telling them to quit or improve...

I've seen 2 tumblr blogs

People made fun of peoples' artwork

It made me heartbroken to see the artwork on there

So I did the opposite.

I don't steal someone's artwork

Like those blogs do

I don't bring people down because of their art

Like those blogs do

I don't make fun of someone's artwork

Like those blogs do.

I do the opposite

I ask permission from the artist and give the link back

Because that's what this blog is about

I lift people up and encourage them

Because that's what this blog is about

I give constructive criticism and tell them how to improve

Because that's what this blog is all about

This is the Constructive Criticism for Artwork Blog.

And we help artist improve their artwork and be the artist they always wanted to become
